Cool, They certainly take their parents influence. You should meet my kids. My five year old plays harmonica and beats on the snare drum. He stays on time which is really amazing. good singer too, him.

the reason it bothers me so much is because, if nothing else, its really inconsiderate and selfish-ish of them to bad mouth somebody they know im friends with. i would feel the same way if it were anybody in any group of friends. my former best friends and i have a mutual friend, and not once did i ever say anything bad about them to said mutual friend. because i was considerate enough of my friend not to do that, because i know that makes the one person feel awkward and its really not fair. and if youre a good friend, you can recognize and respect that. so im hoping that christine and jahaira come to this realization as well.
but i will just say for the record that you should maybe still give chad the benefit of the doubt. he didnt say anything about you.

btw, if you're starting to tutor on your own and not with a company, you can get free business cards made through vistaprint.com .... maybe i paid for shipping, but it was like $5 for business cards instead of like $30 I saw advertised somewhere else.

christine, in all srs bsnsnss, told me what exactly the problem she has with you is and why and when it happened and blah blah blah. i dont know that its my place to get in the middle of it and tell you what her problem with you is or if you even really want to know or care.
even if her intention is to try to tarnish the friendship you and i have [which i dont think is her intention, i think she just likes to complain], trust me, nothing she says about you makes me think any differently of you as a person. i base my feelings about people on my own interactions with them. and the things that she's telling me now, arent anything she hasnt rambled on about before.
im just sorry that you roommates are such...difficult people to maintain friendship with and whatnot. or that they have such antisocial tendencies and find people to be replacable or have strange views on what it means to be somebody's friend.

I've been a tutor before, and I'm starting to tutor again on Monday (I'm insane for taking a 2nd part-time job, but I need the monies). Anyways, if CSUN or a community college near you offers a tutor training class, take it. It gives you a bit of an edge, I know it helped me when I said I was taking the class at ECC. It was like a 6 or 8 week class that met once a week and was pretty easy and it really helped me be a better tutor.
Good luck with the Disney job and job hunt in general. I hope you find something awesome for you soon.

just remember that these are tough times and youre not the first person to go through this. if nothing else, you have to remember how fortunate you are to have a lot of wonderful people in your life. friends who care about you and parents that love you and can help you when you need it. not everyone is that lucky. so try to keep all the positive things in your life in mind.^^

I feel the same way you do about public prayer! And it's a rarity I ask for somebody to pray for me, which is usually not for *me* but for my family. It's similar situations that make me avoid church, bible study and the like. I wish I could find a good group that didn't emphasize on the missionary style stuff and public prayer... and also not judge that I am not very familiar with the bible, etc. But I digress....
if you want help with your resume, i can help you... i think mine is fairly decent, and having worked with managers before on hiring people i know from managers what is good and what is bad. you can ask ashley for my email if it isn't here or on fb somewhere.
