once upon a time i got married. bought a house, did all those things.
i was a soldier too.
when i got back from iraq i seperated from my ex-wife.
i was lost, so i went looking for myself.
there were some beautiful sunsets along the way.
i spent alot of time just getting by with my friends.
it took a while, but i learned to live for right now, not tomorrow or yesterday. living in the moment, while everything else is moving around me at it's own pace.
sometimes you just gotta relax, kick back, and enjoy the teacup ride.
chill under a beautiful cloudy day,
or go to a show/party.
i've learned that every sunset is different, new, beautiful in it's own right,
the same way every day is beautiful. Especially with the right set of foot prints running parrallel to yours.

"I wrote a poem when i was like 16 or something about how when people have seen hard times you could tell. it was like they wore their pain like a cloak, for protection, or for warning, or just because it was a part of who you are. people are painted with the pain they carry, as well as the happiness. the poem was called painstaind."
also i'd like to note that noone has ever read that poem. and if i find it i'll post it here.

it's all going ok. big questions to answer, but for the most part i think the roads are opening up, and i'm heading in the direction i want to. sooner or later i won't need these silly roads.
