Touring Melo Kids,

Some would say I need no introduction but not all of you know me or what i'm into. My name is Robert, I live in Southern California in the city of Alhambra but grew up in the city of Pico Rivera and went to El Rancho High School where i swam 4 years varsity and played Water Polo for 3 years. I'm a true Capricorn, Catholic, i like all forms of art. I'm a strong spiritual person i know a lot of people would say otherwise but i believe in a high power. A love that welcomes and destroys hearts. Some would not understand but I've seen a lot go down in my life and with a little faith, prayer and effort a lot can happen. I look at the world and think of what a gift we have been giving as small creatures who have so much pride in themselves. I have a strong love for my family, friends and respect for mother Earth. I'm also one of those who believe that anything is possible and whether it's parallel detentions, aliens, big foot or the lock ness monster some things will always be left in mystery but the truth is out there. I would like to give a shout out to my brother in Oregon, Fernie (wizzelrules112 who's picture is posted in an entry below) i miss him everyday and he is my best friend in the whole entire world who shares a few of my likes with me. A few of my favorite artists are H. R. Giger, Bob Eggleton and Dave Dorman. I do a bit of drawing myself and also play around with photoshop and create little things for my myself and my friends. I used to be in a band back after i got out of high school when i played the bass, the band i was in was called Mindslaves. My favorite musical acts are Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, the Deftones, the Cure, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, the Sneaker Pimps, Oingo Boingo, New Order, Bjork and Hawaiian Style Band. I love the movies. Some of my favorite films are James Cameron's Aliens, Terminator 2 and Avatar, George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Diary of the Dead, Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later, Sunshine and Trainspotting. I'm also a big fan of Godzilla movies, thanks to my Dad it had formed the foundation of who i am in a way. I've seen every movie made to date and try to get as many collectibles as i can. I'm also a big fan of the Alien/Predator/AVP franchise. I also love to play survival horror video games such as the Resident Evil series and my favorite games are Resident Evil (remake), Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 5. You can also find me playing various games such as Rockband, DJ Hero, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid . I believe that zombies are out there so i keep handy a Zombie Survival Guide (that everyone in the world should have a copy of) by Max Brooks who also wrote the great World War Z. Other books that i like to read are Anne Rice's The Queen of the Damned, Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park and Prey, Marc Cerasini's Godzilla Return's and Godzilla 2000. My Favorite TV Shows are Heroes, Trueblood, House, Archer and Queer as Folk. I love to have a good time and sometimes i can be pretty emo. I guess this is why i fit in so well with melo...

For years I’ve been going to events and partying with my fellow melo kids and having a great time. Documenting all that I can at every melo event that I’ve been a part of. When people ask me what my job is I tell them I work Parks & Recreation as a Rec Leader and work for a website www.melodramatic.com as an Event Photographer. I’m always asked how much I make as a photographer and I’m honest I tell them I do it for free to help out my friend Sara who owns the website because she’s a great friend. So some would say “how does that work out for you?” and I tell them it’s great because I get to meet new people and have a great time with my fellow men. I’ve worked hours upon hours on taking pictures at big slice, bon fires, melo parties, editing pictures, making the [collected], creating designs for meloversarys and front page art for free helping out my fellow Admins and Sara. Recently someone said I should ask for donations and I don’t know why I never thought of that before so this is it. I’m asking for some help. I’d really appreciate it. I will continue to do my best to get pictures of all the melo events to you as soon as humanly possible and if you would like I’ll get on a personal [collected] if you wish. Mahalo or Thank You!
