Alllright, so it sounds like your preferred solution to the worlds problems is to just drink the kool-aid and go with it. One person cannot make a difference on their own so nobody should try. Since you can't solve a problem by virtue of your own actions alone, you might as well contribute to it.

As negative as this may sound, any normal individual cannot make a difference by not supporting the industry. It's been engraved in everyone's mind that "diamonds are a girl's best friend" and that if you make it big in the music industry, you gotta rock the bling bling. Don't forget the rich and royalties all over the world... diamonds, emeralds, gems, any freakin rock that looks pretty is added to their collection.
It's a big industry that we can't take down.
Plus, I can't not support it. I want a diamond engagement ring.

But yeah. How pretty they are is a matter of personal taste I guess, but they are probably the most over-valued stone on earth. There's enough diamonds in the world for every man woman and child in America to have a cup full of them.

I am a Kelly Clarkson fan and I don't mind you spelled her name wrong and don't like her. Doesn't bother me any. I think she has an amazing voice. She is awesome in concert too...good performer.
