Gylly

I've been living on..

..coffee and food other people buy for me.

There hasn't been food in my house for months, other than mustard and pancake mix. Haha. And my dog's food. I believe my mom's going to buy food today.

I'm posting this because it's gotten to the point where my DAD is complaining...and he doesn't care about food.

He told me this hilarious story, and I felt like sharing:

He was really starving a few nights ago, and the only thing he could find was a fortune cookie. He ate the cookie, and looked at the fortune. It read: "If you're still hungry, have another fortune cookie."....There wasn't another cookie.

Needless to say, he RAGED.
ROFFLAMOW.

3 things I love:

-Eardrum heaviness/wobbliness (if you can understand what that means..0.0)
-Itchiness
-Uncontrollable hiccups.

if anyone can guess why, you get 2 pts!

<3

I should move to Australia...

...because my sleeping schedule is officially backwards.

=/

But....at least I'm on something I can call a schedule, now.

XD

My phone...

...SURVIVED!!!!!!

It has the tiniest of battle wounds (a little smidge of blotchiness on the screen), but it's ALIVE!

Matt is fucking godly, and I will be forever in his debt.

Btw- If anyone else submerges their phone in water for 5-10 minutes (knock on wood), this is what he did:

1- Remove the battery.
2- Alternate between wiping the phone down and blow-drying for about 5 minutes.
3- Get a bowl or opened zip-lock bag of dry rice and cover the phone & battery completely.
4- Put back together and test phone after an hour
5- Repeat process as many times as necessary

I am..

I am infinite patience, and I am never NOT okay.

I'm in the mood...

...to reconnect with people.

Probably not the best idea, though.

It's more than likely because of this nostalgic-spring-fever thing that's going on in my head.

XD!

Enjoying the new Alkaline Trio CD (This Addiction), bar a few songs.

...And, it's fucking GORGEOUS outside! 60 degrees again! YAY!

Good fucking day.

Also, all good things must come to an end, and so it has, as of last night.

I will mourn, but not for too long.

I really do love...

...the front-page art XD!

Speaking as the target audience.

When it comes to commercials, they need only put a single cup of coffee somewhere in the shot for me to be sold. I sometimes find myself wishing that I was 50 so I could get THAT life insurance from THAT commercial with the coffee in it.

I fail.

Melatonin-induced coma.

...PLEASE kick in! =[

7 deadly sins.

I feel like I'm in all 7 graves once.

A story that traumatized me as a child.

My dad used to tell me that "tailypo" was going to get me when he punished me.
He's not that twisted anymore.

They're acting up again, coupled with mania.

I'm thrilled.

I'm terrified.

New Poll: Crossing Lines

Some people believe that once you cross a line, you can't go back.
Others believe that a line can be crossed, over and back, at will.
I believe that some lines shouldn't be crossed, regardless.

My issue with the second mentality is that some lines shouldn't be crossed at all, whether or not you can go back...because the odds of you crossing a line (such as hitting a significant other, or stealing from a friend, etc.) and going back, and NOT doing it again, is really slim. Once a line has been crossed, it will most likely happen again. So, so what if you can go back and forth? The point is not to cross it at all, right?

Sorry if this entry was worded poorly. I'm kind of out of it today, and having a hard time processing my thoughts. Anyway, go vote in my poll! =]

You might find this amusing...

My puppy has recently been doing the butt-dragging-along-the-carpet thing that dog in that commercial does. HAHA.

I like...

...having a jam buddy, who happens to live on my block, and has an awesome voice.

I just want everyone to know...

...that I pulled a FOIL JACE (The Mindsculptor) in one of my 3 booster packs.

WHAAAAAT?!!

+plus shininess! ;]

They're about 80 bucks right now. WEWT!

Guilt free.

I've absolved myself, and my name is no longer tainted (even if the "tainted" part was in my head to begin with).

I swallowed my pride, ignored aggressions, and calmly apologized.

Not for her- for ME.

I am now GUILT FREE...

...whether she accepts my apology or not.

I can't absolve her of HER sins, but I can certainly absolve myself of my own.

Active inactivity.

"In our lives today, we don't leave room for empty spots, for doing nothing. This concept of doing nothing, which has nothing to do with just not doing something, is also an activity and an exercise.

Compare doing nothing to a pause in music. A pause is not a lack of music- it is an integral part of the composition. If a conductor does not hold a pause to its full value, it's like cutting into the flesh, As Claude Debussy has said, 'Music is the space between the notes.' The masters of good phrasing, like good martial artists, are men who pay as much attention to pause and silence (non action) as to action."

- A quote from Zen in the Martial Arts, by Bronny Kaper

Try Softer.

A young boy traveled across Japan to the school of a famous martial artist.

When he arrived at the dojo, he was given an audience by the sensei.

"What do you wish from me?" the master asked.

"I wish to be your student and become the finest karateka in the land," the boy replied. "How long must I study?"

"Ten years, at least," the master answered.

"Ten years is a long time," said the boy. "What if I studied twice as hard as all your other students?"

"Twenty years," replied the master.

"Twenty years!? What if I practice day and night with all my effort?"

"Thirty years," was the master's reply.

"How is it that each time I say I will work harder, you tell me that it will take longer?" the boy asked.

"The answer is clear. When one eye is fixed upon your destination, there is only one eye left with which to find the way."

-an anonymous quote from Zen in the Martial Arts by Joe Hyams

'Cause you want a Mountain Dew?

My ex's brother was speeding. A cop pulled him over. The cop says, "Do you know why I pulled you over?" His brother says, "Because you want a Mountain Dew?", and hands a can to the cop. The cop thanks him and lets him drive away.

He's not the biggest fan of Katara.

"One would think that, since Katara learned blood bending, she'd have her mood swings under control by now."- Pete

Currently...

I'm currently working on making a green/red/black Magic deck. I'm also wondering how people on Melo know who's viewing their pages...?

Too bad I don't drink.

I turned 21 today, about two hours ago =]

Got my new ID... It DOESN'T say "Under 21"..... bwahaha!

Happy Birthday to ME!

X, the Friendly Ghost?

Last night, I was walking up my stairs to get to my room. I reached the top of the steps, about to walk through my bedroom door, and I see a tall shadow figure enter my room first. I turned the light on, and chalked it up to bad night-vision.

I take one step inside of my room, and a song starts playing. Some hip-hop song. I immediately lower the speakers on my computer to as low as they can go, but I still hear the music. I look at my cellphone, even though I don't have a ringtone like that, and it wasn't coming from there, either.

Then I look at my alarm clock- that's where the music was coming from. I went to turn it off, but the switch was already on "off". I hit the snooze button, and the music stopped.

I said outloud, "That's not funny. Leave my room, please. Actually, get out of my house." My mom yelled at me for talking that loudly at 5 in the morning.

The little red light that shows up when I have my alarm set wasn't on, nor would I have ever set an alarm for 5:12 in the morning... It was too random of a time, and I have never had to be up that early since I moved back to NY.

Usually, the alarm starts going off again 5 minutes after I hit snooze, but music never played again.

I checked what time my alarm was set for (even though it wasn't turned on at all), and it said 7 am.

Anyway, I was thinking about who it could have been. I didn't have a "scared" feeling. It was more like "oh shit, weirdness!" It could have been a deceased family member. My nana, or my grandpa, or my cousin, or my aunt...

Was I wrong for asking it to leave, before finding out its intentions?

New Moon

I'm watching New Moon for about the 5th time, and I'm realizing I liked this one better than the first.

I also love the soundtrack.

But most importantly, this movie makes me question why my team (which has always been team Edward) isn't team Jacob.

This is a real dilemma, ladies & gentlemen.

I love...

...reconnecting with friends.
...knowing I've done nothing wrong.
...confidence boosters.
...surges of motivation.
...a good night's sleep.
...reading a good book. (Btw- Check out "Battle Royale"!)
...knowing my phone/IPod is fully-charged.
...looking through old videos/pictures with my family.

Adventurer's log on Runescape

This is my account. "I killed Preposterown."....over, and over, and over again hahaha.

http://services.runescape.com/m=adventurers-log/display_player_profile.w...

Hehe, I can stalk better than ever, now, with this log.

Remember when I moved in you...

....and the Holy Dove was moving, too?
..and every breath we drew was Hallelujah?

*Shivers...*

It went well.

The wake wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

It was really nice seeing the family I haven't seen in so long. So nice, in fact, that I can look beyond my awkwardness, and I think they can, too.

My Uncle and cousin both seem to be coping well enough.
They're such good people...

It was a bitter-sweet kind of day. I feel drained.

They say that blood is thicker than water.
I also believe blood transcends time.

Re: I'm an extraordinary machine.

I played it last weekend after my brother bought it for his Xbox, and its pretty intense. Ive always liked the Battlefield games more than most war games. It seems like they pay more attention to the small details that will really get you into the game. Thanks for stoppin by!

I love Mt. Dew. I will drink it all day long every day. However, I would not give mine to a cop. I would actually kill a cop for the last Mt. Dew on the store shelf if I was fiending bad enough. Damn, now I want a Mt. Dew.

Re: My boyfriend...

Here's what i'd do...

Follow both Candy's, and Oona's advice. But before you do. Find yourself a guy that you could think to yourself..."yeah, i'd like to jump his bones for a few nights and that's all I want from him." Because the way I see it, you'd be in the right to do that after everything douchebag is putting you through. Otherwise, just use him for sex and nothing else.

Also...is this the same guy that choked you and not in the good way some time ago?

Re: My boyfriend...

Nah, I just had to bitch for a second lol I'm already over it. If all I can say about him is that 1-he doesn't respond to my texts, and 2-he used to lie about shit because he was afraid I'd get jealous, then I think I'm doing good. He's a sweet guy, actually. Kind of oblivious, and trained to be paranoid about shit from his ex girlfriends, but he's amazing =]

Re: I'm an extraordinary machine.

I am so glad to see people agree with me, I was a little worried and about to delete it, but I got all fired up after seeing this girls page. I don't think there is anything wrong with being a stay-at-home mom or being a career woman or what-have-you, as long as it is what a person wants.
I just know when I took a class, there was a girl in my class verbally attacked about how she was the reason women can't move forward because she said she wants to be a stay at home mom one day, and her getting a college degree is nothing more than a fall back. I was definitely livid.

Re: I'm typically ruled by...

Hm. I hope that, by the time I'm your age, I'm not so condescending/preachy/rude when sharing my opinion. I realize the question is an oversimplification, but no need to rip "the one who conceived it" to shreds. I know I base my actions more on my emotions than on my logic, and I was curious to see others' opinions. You, my friend, seem very emotional...and a little too black-and-white, for someone who's so angry about how black-and-white my question is.

Gigli's picture
Re: I'm typically ruled by...

I don't think people are "ruled" by either. What a limiting way to pose a question. Furthermore, this is one of those silly questions that are so poorly conceived as to speak negatively of those who conceive it. Myself, I like to think logic is a tool and emotions are a consequence. Being ruled by tools and consequences reduces being to such things that effectively cancel out the real purpose of being: becoming.

yeah but who's gonna admit they're an animal? well if they really thought it helped their sex appeal then...i guess lol.

speaking of animals, i know i can always come by your page when i need to laugh. the dog wiping its butt. i have a bad toilet humor for some reason and i always crack up over that genre lol.
