i saw a gray whale yesterday
walking home from downtown olympia, Ben and I saw movement in the water. He joked it was a porpoise. I said it was probably seals....maybe a submarine.
It came up and it was a whale.
It swam under the fourth avenue bridge and swam around between the damn under the fifth avenue bridge and the fourth avenue bridge.
I am infatuated.
I can't get the image of his tail out of my mind.
