"It's for the people!"

Hey Melo Kids around the world, it's your wonderful kaiju friend here. After meeting with Sara last night we are ready to give you an update for things to come in the world of melo.

First off, the first bonfire of the year was a success. We had awesome people come, good music, dank S'mores, a nice warm fire that lasted the night, and even Peter Pan stopped by for a visit. As the warmer months draw closer, we anticipate seeing more friendly faces, and by the end of the summer have we will have a pre-meloversary bonfire that will blow you away. I already have a list of things that I still need to pick up, so we can make these bonfires more functional and I'm asking if you guys could possibly donate lawn chairs and wood. Also, if you happen to have Bongo drums please bring them, we loooove drum circles!

Next months Bonfire is April 2nd, so mark your calendars. You can also still view the pictures from this past bonfire here.

This brings us to our next event, The April Halloween. In the early days, fellow member Johnny came up with the idea of hosting a Halloween Party in April. They were always really kick-ass, with lots of melo kids dressing up in amazing costumes. The April Halloween ran for a good five years, but for the past few the April Halloween parties have fallen silent. However, after speaking with Sara and Johnny, everyone is in agreement that this should definitely make a come back.

So I'm happy to announce that the April Halloween is BACK in action. The date that we are looking at is April 3rd and we are currently in talks on where to host the event. When the information comes up, you will be the first to know! Pictures from the last April Halloween Event can be viewed here.

And apart from our awesome bonfires and amazing Halloween in April, we've got more yet to offer. Other treats to look forward to are: The Melo Radio Show, The Melo (Web)isodes, bringing back Friday Clockwork Orange Nights in LA, Melo Prom, the annual Meloversary bash and new spots in Los Angeles to hang out during the week, for melo locals.

All the Love in the World,
Robert

P.S. Also if you are interested in hosting a Melo Event outside of the Southern California area please feel free to G-Spot me and let me know about the event and what other melo kids are involved. We really want to get the whole community involved so please don't be shy. Melo:East Coast and Melo: Midwest have been in development for some time, and we're working hard to integrate them into one big party-planning committee. For all.

Happy Meloversary
